About ToolkitPal

ToolkitPal is a small collection of free browser-based utilities for everyday tasks: converting currencies, compressing images, checking word counts, converting time zones, and building color palettes.

Every tool is usable without an account, and most of them run entirely on your device.

Why we built it

Most online tools ask you to upload a file before they will do anything. That is often unnecessary, and it is a poor default for photos, documents, and text you may not want to hand to a stranger's server.

We built ToolkitPal around the opposite default: process locally when the browser can, and be explicit when it cannot.

How the tools handle your data

Runs in your browser — Image Compressor, Compress Image to Size, Word Counter, Time Zone Converter, Color Palette Generator. The file or text you select is read locally and never uploaded.

Needs a server request — Currency Converter. It fetches indicative exchange rates from open.er-api.com and caches them for up to 24 hours. Your input amounts are not stored.

Rates are indicative only and are not suitable for trading, billing, or any decision requiring an official rate.

How we keep content accurate

When a page states a rule, a limit, or a figure, we aim to cite where it came from and when we last checked it. If you find something that is out of date or wrong, tell us and we will correct it.

We do not claim that any output is officially accepted by a third party. Where a platform, government body, or employer has its own requirements, their published rules take precedence over anything written here.

Who runs this site

ToolkitPal is maintained by apollo, an independent developer based in China.

How we make money

ToolkitPal is free to use. We cover costs through display advertising and, on some pages, affiliate links.

Affiliate links are labeled and marked rel="sponsored". If you buy something through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Advertising and affiliate relationships do not influence which tools we build or what our pages say.
